10 years ago, Eric Charles-Donatien began to feel strongly that he needed to express himself outside the world of fashion. The Rue de Rivoli Arts Décoratifs boutique offered him the opportunity he craved, with an interior made entirely of crude metal and black feathers. He was able to show his design vision through his favourite material, feathers, and metal. This combination became central to his work. Eric likes to tell the story of each object - nothing is there for its beauty alone. For Eric Charles-Donatien : “It’s not a question of decorating. It’s creating a DNA, a skin, an identity.”
